At this year’s ICSO, the International Conference on Space Optics in Antibes, France, we presented our new high-power fiber amplifier for satellite uplinks and deep space communications.
Konstantin Holzner, the product manager for our free-space optical communications portfolio, shared insights into the development of our cutting-edge large mode area (LMA) amplifiers. These systems were specifically designed with laser uplinks from optical ground stations (OGS) to satellites and space missions in mind.
